Description of the Service

[The Sport Stack] is a data-driven sports analytics website covering Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Football League (NFL), and mixed martial arts (MMA). The service publishes model projections, "best bets," player-prop edges, line-shopping boards, and a public track record (including ROI, units, and win/loss records) of the operator's own previously staked plays.

The service is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. To be clear about what the service is not:

We are not a sportsbook, bookmaker, betting exchange, or gambling operator;
We do not accept, place, broker, solicit, or facilitate any wager or bet;
We do not handle, hold, transfer, process, or escrow any customer money or funds; and
You cannot place a bet through the service, and no part of the service enables you to do so.

Any references to odds, lines, stakes, units, or track records describe analysis and the operator's own historical activity, and are not offers, invitations, or facilities to bet.

No Advice

All content on the service — including projections, model outputs, "best bets," edges, ratings, and commentary — is general information and opinion presented for entertainment. It does not take account of your personal circumstances, financial situation, or objectives.

Nothing on the service is betting, financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, or a recommendation, solicitation, or inducement to place any specific wager. Model projections are probabilistic estimates, not statements of fact and not guarantees of any outcome. Past performance, including any published track record, ROI, or win/loss figures, is not indicative of and does not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make, and you act at your own risk.

Assumption of Risk and Responsible Gambling

Sports betting involves substantial risk of financial loss and can be addictive. User Accounts and Registration

The service is currently available free of charge and does not require an account. We plan to introduce optional user registration and accounts (free at first). Where account features are made available, the following terms apply.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and keep that information up to date;
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account;

You may hold only one account unless we expressly permit otherwise; and
You must meet the eligibility and age requirements above to register and maintain an account.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, provided false information, or engaged in conduct that harms the service or other users.

Paid Subscriptions

The service is free today. We may introduce paid subscription tiers or other paid features in the future. This section is forward-looking and applies only if and when such paid offerings are made available.

Applicable fees, billing cycles, automatic renewal terms, cancellation procedures, and any refund or trial terms will be presented to you clearly at the point of sign-up before you incur any charge;
By purchasing a paid subscription, you authorize us or our payment processor to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method;
Unless stated otherwise at sign-up, subscriptions may renew automatically until cancelled, and you may cancel in accordance with the terms presented at purchase; and
Any such paid offerings will be governed by these Terms together with the specific subscription terms disclosed at checkout, which control in the event of a conflict on billing matters.

Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers, and your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use the service lawfully and only for its intended personal, non-commercial purpose. You must not, and must not attempt to or permit others to:

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including restricting or terminating access, against anyone who, in our judgment, violates this section.

Intellectual Property

The service and all of its contents — including the website, software, models, projections, algorithms, data compilations, text, graphics, layout, design, logos, and trademarks — are owned by or licensed to [The Sport Stack] and are protected by intellectual property and other laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the service for your own personal, non-commercial use. Third-Party Data, Odds Feeds, and Links

The service incorporates or references data from third parties, including sports statistics, odds and lines from sportsbooks and odds feeds, and other external sources. It may also contain links to third-party websites and services.

We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, availability, or legality of third-party data or content, and inclusion of any odds, feed, or link does not imply our endorsement, affiliation, or recommendation. Odds and lines change constantly and may be delayed or inaccurate. Your dealings with any third party, including any sportsbook, are solely between you and that third party and are subject to their own terms.

User-Generated Content

The service does not currently offer general user-content features, but may add them in the future (such as comments or profiles). This section is forward-looking and applies if and when such features are made available.

You are solely responsible for any content you submit and must not post anything that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, abusive, misleading, or otherwise objectionable. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the service. We may remove or moderate content at our discretion but have no obligation to monitor it.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Limitation of Liability

To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service and these Terms is limited, at our option, to the greater of the amount you paid us (if any) for the service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification

Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms; if you do not agree, you must stop using the service.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the service or any account, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, including if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will continue to apply after termination.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
